Surfin Smoothies is a smoothie hut located in Captiva, Florida. The target audience for Surfin Smoothies are surfers looking for a healthy snack or meal after a day on the waves, or tourists to do their instagram worthy acai bowls and the trendy interior. I used wood to construct a surfboard shaped menu because it is natural and earthy which would appeal to my target audience. I crafted the wooden surfboard menu to stand up by the fin so the menu looked aesthetically pleasing on a table. For the logo, I chose a handwritten font to give the logo a personality that matches its surf customers, and manipulated the text to make the “N” look like a straw. I specifically chose a color palette that reflected the essence of the ocean.
